No weather, no drops hold back Josh Bechtel.....he know's he's got the thermos espresso!
This is a gnarly couloir on the Grand Turk peak elevation 13,600 feet. Better than 3,000 feet of "Earning my Turns". Nice steep pitch that keeps you honest. Loose an edge up here and you may tumble for quite some time.

Spent Sunday closing down Silverton Mountain for the season. Ski day number 145 for the year. Started at Silverton in October and still going strong. It was a lazy start to the day waiting for the sun to soften the snow. I read the paper and enjoyed a tall cup of Hazelnut brew as the suns rays buttered up the snow for another day of magic.
Enjoy-Sven
Alaska, the holy grail for skiers. Just had an amazing time in the Chugach heli skiing with Chugach Powder Guides. Also spent some time at Alyeska Resort and skiing the backcountry of Turnagin Pass. Six first descents during my trip. Ton of snow for our visit. These mountain are truly amazing. Everything holds snow and the peaks are the real deal.
Life is good-Sven
