Kayaker since birth, wilderness adventurer for as long as i can remember. Outdoor activities are my salvation, and majoring in Health and Wellness Promotion at UNCAsheville is my study.
Adventures:
Countries paddled: all over the USA, Canada and Europe, New Zealand, Chile, Costa Rica, Brazil, Mexico, Japan. So many beautiful rivers, so little time... Favorite places i've found to kayak: my home in NC, California, BC, Washington, Switzerland, Japan, and really - wherever your smiling, moving downstream.
Benchmarks:
i've been lucky enough to get to run some large rapids and waterfalls (a few of which were first descents), i've paddled through amazing canyons with the best of friends, i've won a few races and i've survived a few horrifying moments. thats all that needs to be said.
